5K & One Mile Fun Run
The Race
5K - Our in-person race is professionally timed and starts at 8 am. We also have a virtual option for those who can't make it in-person. All registrations will be moved to virtual in the event an in-person event cannot be held.
One Mile Fun Run - Kids (and adults) of all ages will have fun with this event!
Register by June 2, 2023 for $30, and to be guaranteed a Sweaty Yeti Performance Tee. The price will increase June 3, 2023 and we will be unable to guarantee a shirt.
Runners of all levels are welcome!!

Registration is currently open for the in-person* 5K and the virtual 5K.

As we continue to monitor the safety of holding an in-person event and follow the guidelines from the state of Michigan, we may have to convert our in-person 5K to a fully virtual event. If this happens, we will automatically convert all in-person registrations to virtual registrations and will not provide refunds.

We will continue to update our list race-day safety precautions for the in-person race as necessary.

Hand sanitizer stands will be placed near the restrooms and the start/finish line

Only bottled water and pre-packaged snacks will be provided for runners

Scholarship
The Barber-Galvin Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually to 2 East Jordan High School graduating seniors Both Christie and Kellie graduated from EJHS and also Central Michigan University. Applications are available at the high school.
It is an honor for the family and friends of Christie and Kellie to award this scholarship and watch it assist in the pursuit of higher education for these students. It is our goal to create a self sustaining fund, making it possible to offer scholarships for years to come.
